Privacy Notice

This notice covers every form and service on WMSTurkiye.com under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Each flow is listed separately with what is processed and why. No form assumes marketing consent; where consent is required we use a separate, unticked box.

This is an English translation of the Turkish notice, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Turkish text prevails.

Data controller

The periods above are upper limits. Records are deleted or anonymised earlier once no legal obligation requires keeping them.

Who we share data with

  • Service providers: hosting, database, email delivery and spam prevention — only as far as the service requires.
  • Vendors: only for shortlist, proposal, demo or RFQ enquiries and only with the vendors you explicitly select and authorise. Requests reach the WMSTurkiye team first; nothing is forwarded to a vendor automatically without your consent.
  • Published content: review email addresses are never published. Survey results are published only in aggregate and anonymised; a breakdown with fewer than 10 companies is not shown.

Where providers use infrastructure abroad, the transfer is assessed under Article 9 of Law No. 6698 and contractual safeguards.

Cookies and browser storage

  • Vendor panel session cookie: set when you sign in; HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, 8 hours. Strictly necessary.
  • User-account session cookie: set when you sign in to your account; HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, 8 hours. Strictly necessary.
  • Admin session cookie: set only on pages used by the WMSTurkiye team.
  • Browser storage (sessionStorage): used so the same interaction is not counted twice; it sends no personal data to the server.
  • Google Analytics 4: used to measure page views and on-site events (ID G-7FQ90XZSF9). IP addresses are anonymised. Ad personalisation and remarketing are off. Google processes the data on its infrastructure.
  • Yandex.Metrika: used to measure page views, a click map and session replay (Webvisor) (counter 112841160). Yandex processes the data on its infrastructure.
  • No advertising-network or remarketing cookies are used.

Security

Data is held in systems with restricted access and admin pages sit behind authentication. Review verification links are stored hashed, and panel sign-in links are signed and time-limited. Even so, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please tell us if you notice anything suspicious.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you may learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties it is transferred to in Turkey or abroad, request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, request erasure or destruction where the conditions apply, ask that such actions be notified to third parties, object to a result derived solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage.

Send requests to info@wmsturkiye.com. They are answered within the statutory period after identity verification. To have your review unpublished, writing to the same address is enough.

Changes

This notice is updated whenever a new form or service is added and the version number changes. Current version: 2026-09-20-v4. Previous versions: 2026-09-20-v3 (did not cover the floor model flow), 2026-09-20-v2 (did not cover the account and newsletter flows).

Sponsored results and vendor enquiries

Sponsored results are identified separately. Sponsorship does not change compatibility scores or organic rankings. To limit repeated charges and associate an enquiry with your Finder choices, a first-party, HttpOnly session cookie (wmst_monet) lasts up to 12 hours. Event records use a random session identifier hash, product and campaign IDs, your Finder choices and action times; no contact details are stored in events. Sponsored attribution in this tab expires after 30 minutes.

When you request a proposal, demo or RFQ, the contact and warehouse information you submit is linked to your existing Finder criteria. Only vendors you explicitly select may access an enquiry after our review. They initially see the warehouse summary; company name, full name, email, phone and notes become available when the vendor unlocks the enquiry with credits. Consent is recorded as vendor-opportunity-2026-09-v1. Contact and enquiry context follow the 2 years retention period for requests. You can withdraw sharing permission by writing to info@wmsturkiye.com.

Detailed sponsorship events are covered by a configurable retention policy, initially 90 days (maximum 730 days). Scheduled or operator-run retention removes expired event records. Wallet transactions and management audit records are retained separately for accounting and dispute handling; they do not contain visitor contact details.

Measured warehouse plans and storage choices

Plans and company details are initially stored only in your browser. Watermarked PDF and PNG downloads do not require server storage or marketing permission. When you choose “Save to server”, dimensions, object positions, floors, staffing and equipment counts, operation choices, company / site name and any preparer / reviewer details you enter are stored at your explicit request to save and reopen your plan. Only submit plans you are authorised to store and avoid unnecessary personal information.

Only the WMS Türkiye owner administrator can access these records. Vendors cannot access company identities or detailed drawings. A separate optional marketing permission allows area, staffing / equipment counts and operation preferences to inform WMS promotions on WMS Türkiye. It does not authorise email / SMS messages or third-party disclosure, and is not a condition for storage or PDF export.

We record your permission status, timestamp and notice version warehouse-plan-2026-09-24. The server stores only a hash of the access key held in this browser. Records become inaccessible 365 days after the last save and are deleted by retention cleanup. Use “Withdraw marketing permission” or “Delete server record” to change your choices. Clearing browser data does not delete the server record. If you lose access, contact info@wmsturkiye.com to exercise the rights described in this notice.
