Privacy Notice for WMS Directory Submissions
This is an English translation of the Turkish privacy notice (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni), provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Turkish version prevails.
Data controller and scope
For vendor and product submissions to the WMS directory, WMSTurkiye processes the submitting representative's name, business email, optional phone number, company and product information, and — for security purposes — the IP address and browser information.
Purposes and legal grounds
The data is processed to evaluate and verify the submission, to contact the applicant, to run the directory listing process, to prevent misuse and to meet legal obligations, on the legal grounds of explicit consent, the establishment or exercise of a right, and legitimate interest. This consent is not a permission for marketing communications.
Transfers, retention and security
The data may be transferred, only as far as needed for the service to work, to hosting, database, email and spam-prevention providers. Where providers use infrastructure outside Turkey, the relevant KVKK transfer conditions and contractual safeguards are assessed separately. Submission data is kept for at most two years for evaluation and possible disputes, and is deleted or anonymised when there is no legal obligation to keep it.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK — to be informed, to request correction or deletion, to object to processing and to claim compensation — by writing to info@wmsturkiye.com. Requests are answered within the legal time limit after identity verification.
